CEROSKA is our new discipleship program for whole families, first launched in spring 2023.
CEROSKA is an acronym composed from words CEsta-ROdiny-SK (Way of the Family .sk); being a bit of a play on words’ sound it resembles the Slovak word for pencil
As its title already suggest, we invite whole families to set off on an adventurous journey with us!
Our main goals for this adventurous journey would be to…

- understand our common family values
- strengthen relationships in our family
- discover our family calling
- learn to function better as a team
A closer look
CEROSKA is designed for every family that wants more.
CEROSKA is set primarily for entire families; it is also suitable for bigger families and families with smaller kids.
The contect of CEROSKA is a full-fledged program for parents and children.
CEROSKA is a comprehensive, compact program building gradually on previous blocks, not a series of one-of events.
We will carefully consider each family’s application, enjoy your uniqueness and will certainly discuss your specifics and needs with you. Before registering, please consider the commitment that CEROSKA will expect from you (i.e. participation in the full program from beginning to end – on weekends Friday evenings through Sunday afternoons + the complete summer program)
Scope and schedule of the program
2023
- 2 spring weekends: (March 17-19 2023 & May 5-7 2023); the weekends begin alwasy on Friday 17:00 and end on Sundays at 14:00
- summer family teambuilding followed by a mission outreach (July 14-22 2023)
- 2 fall weekends (October 6-8 2023 & November 17-19 2023)
2024
- 2 spring weekends (March 22-24 2024 & May 24-26 2024)
- summer family service project (Family Day July 5th or Family TeamBuilding August 8-11 2024)
- graduation weekend + Ceremony (August 16-18 2024)
All together the program lasts for 18 months and involves 6 weekends and 2 summer weeks
Where
The program takes place at our YWAM Lučatín center near Banska Bystrica, Slovakia. It’s located right here.
Cost
Each weekend costs:
- Adults: 100€
- Children under 12yrs (including) 50€
- Children 13+yrs 60€
- For families with more than 4 children, the cost per each extra child would be 30€
The same applies for children with no need for bed or food - Accomodation in an individual cabin is possible for an extra cost of 50€ (per family)
- If you’d like to use your own accommodation within our compound (e.g. caravan or tent, we will discount you 70€ (per family))
- If you provide your own accommodation (outside of our compount), we will discount you 120€ (per family)
First CEROSKA cycle of 2023/2024
As the program is already running, it’s not possible to join in the current cycle. Registration for the future CEROSKAs will be announced via this website and other information channels we use (YWAM Slovakia Facebook, Instagram, email…).
