24/7 PRAYER

How it all began

In 2004 we got a hold of the book “Red Moon Rising”, which introduced us to the worldwide movement of 24/7 prayer. While reading this book, God spoke to us to start a month long non stop prayer meeting in the capital Bratislava involving all the churches in the city.

From these humble beginnings, many prayer initiatives were started around the country and many of those were registered on the international website of 24/7.

After this the Lord led us to start a year long non stop prayer meeting again in Bratislava involving all the churches there. This year ran successfully from September 2007 to September 2008.

Since then we have not only been able to assist new prayer initiatives in Slovakia but also in the Czech Republic. Currently YWAM Slovakia is the official representative for the 24/7 prayer movement in the nation.
